On 13th June 1889 was born Adolphe Celestin Pègoud. He was a French fighting pilot who gained 5 aerial victories during I World War. Altogether he managed to down 6 hostile aircrafts. He died in 31st August 1915.
On 12th June 1930 was made a first flight of Handley Page HP.38, a prototype of British bomber Handley Page HP.50 Heyford. It was two-engine biplane which could carry over one ton of bombs. On 10th June 1915 was born corporal Władysław Kuciel. He was a warrant officer of a second regiment in Cracow. He fought in the September Campaign. After that he was captured. After coming home in 1942, he was arrested for possession of firearms. He was murdered during investigation in prison on Montelupich Street.
