Today in aviation history – 12th June

On 12th June 1930 was made a first flight of Handley Page HP.38, a prototype of British bomber Handley Page HP.50 Heyford. It was two-engine biplane which could carry over one ton of bombs. British bombing units were equipped with those aircrafts until 1937. The total run of those aircrafts was 125.
