On 26th July 1889 was born Godwin Brumowski – an Austrian World War I aerial ace. During war Brumowski officially downed 35 aircrafts, unofficially 8 more. In Austria he was considered to be national hero and became a sublieutenent. He died in June 1936 because of wounds from aerial accident.

On 23rd July 1955 was made a test flight of TS-8 Bies. It was Polish training aircraft prodeced by State Aviation Works. Its main constructor was Tadeusz Sołtyk. The aircraft was used in Polish aviation since 1957 till the 70’s.

On 22nd July 1895 in Głębokie was born Paweł Osipowicz Suchoj. He was a Soviet aerial constructor. His construction office designed fighters Su-9, Su-15 and Si-27. He died in Moscow on 15th September 1975.
