On 21st April 1949 there was made a first flight of Leduc 010. The aircraft had a totally metal middle wing construction . The construction of this aircraft was very interesting – it was basically a ramjet with wings and cockpit. The aircraft reached the speed of 810 km/h.
On 20th April 1998 Boeing 727-230 (flight Air France 422) crashed after taking off the airport in Bangkok. 10 members of the crew and 43 passengers were killed. The Air France borrowed this plane from Ecuadorian TAME airlines.
On 19th April 1960 there made a test flight of an American strike aircraft Grumman A-6 Intruder. The aircraft was constructed in Grumman factory and was used in 1962-1997. The main cause of constructing this plane was necessity for a plane that could fly in any atmospheric conditions. Grumman A-6 Intruded replaced A-1 Skyrider.
