Rheinmetall Defence will support German Armed Forces in Afghanistan
Rheinmetall Airborne Systems GmbH, a joint venture by Cassidian and Rheinmetall, will continue to support the German Armed Forces in Afghanistan by providing unmanned airborne reconnaissance services.
New radar for Poland
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress July 11 of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Poland for nine Ground Controlled Approach Radar Systems and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $200 million.

Four orders from FMV for Gripen development
Saab has received four orders from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV, for Gripen development, support and maintenance through 2016. The orders entails an initial order of SEK 3.6 billion plus options for additional orders amounting to a maximum of SEK 2 billion until December 2016. (Total approx. equal to US $809.6M including options.)
