Fly from Munich to Denver with Lufthansa again

A330 Lufthansa

From today (11.05) , Lufthansa passengers can enjoy an extended flight offering to North America:  Flight LH 480 to Denver departs at 11:45 from the new satellite terminal at Munich airport. With this, Lufthansa is expanding its daily flight offering from Frankfurt with five weekly flights. Denver was last on Lufthansa’s Munich flight plan in summer 2008. The Airbus A330-300 offers guests the choice of four classes all fitted with the latest cabin interior, including 21 seats in Premium Economy. In Denver, Lufthansa passengers can take connecting flights to around 85 destinations in North America via the hub of their Star Alliance partner United Airlines, including popular destinations such as Phoenix, Las Vegas and Seattle. “We’re really pleased to be able to offer our customers such an attractive travel destination once again. Due to its location in the Rocky Mountains, Denver is a real El Dorado for all sports and nature enthusiasts”, says Thomas Winkelmann, CEO Lufthansa-Hub Munich.

The metropolitan region of Denver, with around 2.5 million inhabitants, lies exactly one mile above sea level and is one of the most popular regions in the USA. It is the location for many traditional mining companies and large telecommunications firms. Other important industries include energy supply and logistics.

Denver is known to holidaymakers as the eastern gate to the Rocky Mountains, with the popular ski resorts of Vail, Breckenridge and Aspen just a short car ride away. The four national parks in the state of Colorado, amongst them the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mesa Verde National Park, can also be easily reached from Denver.

The return flight to Denver can already be booked starting from 799 euros.
