Air Tattoo: Another 17 aircraft Confirmed!

Luftwaffe Air Tatoo
Germany’s three military air arms have confirmed that they are providing 13 aircraft between them for the 2016 Air Tattoo.
The air force, the Luftwaffe, is scheduled to bring an in-service Airbus A400M for the first time, joined in the static display by its predecessor, a Transall C-160D, plus an Airbus A310 Multi-Role Tanker-Transport, and a Panavia Tornado.
Exceptional support from their front-line Eurofighter force comes in the form of four EF2000s, each from a different unit and resulting in representation of each of the partner nations; Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, in the Air Tattoo static display.
The German Army reprises its award-winning MBB Bo 105P helicopter display from last year, and sends a second example for the static park. Also in the static display are three German Navy aircraft – a Lockheed P-3C Orion, a Dornier 228, and an Airbus EC135 training helicopter. Read the full story HERE.
From our civilian operators Textron Aviation will again bring a number of interesting special missions aircraft from its product range. For the third year running, the Textron AirLand Scorpion tactical jet is due to appear, accompanied by a Beechcraft AT-6B Wolverine light attack aircraft, a Beechcraft King Air 350 special missions platform, and a Cessna 208 Caravan special missions aircraft. All will be part of the special showcase area in the static display.
