Germany’s three military air arms have confirmed that they are providing 13 aircraft between them for the 2016 Air Tattoo.
The air force, the Luftwaffe, is scheduled to bring an in-service Airbus A400M for the first time, joined in the static display by its predecessor, a Transall C-160D, plus an Airbus A310 Multi-Role Tanker-Transport, and a Panavia Tornado.
Exceptional support from their front-line Eurofighter force comes in the form of four EF2000s, each from a different unit and resulting in representation of each of the partner nations; Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, in the Air Tattoo static display.
The German Army reprises its award-winning MBB Bo 105P helicopter display from last year, and sends a second example for the static park. Also in the static display are three German Navy aircraft – a Lockheed P-3C Orion, a Dornier 228, and an Airbus EC135 training helicopter. Read the full story HERE.
