On 3rd November 2011 by a decision of Minister of Defense was introduced commemorative badge and reconnaissance badge for No. 31 tactic aviation base. It was a base of Air Force established on 1st April 2008 based on No. 31 aviation base, No.3 tactic aviation squadron and No. 6 tactic aviation squadron. The base is located in South-East part of Poznań, it is included in NATO structure. The base was modernized to operate on aircrafts F-16 Fighting Falcon.
