Today in aviation history – 22nd June

On 22nd June 1909 was born lieutenant Tadeusz Frąckowiak. After passing observing course in Dęblin he was transferred to aviation corps to 5 pl in Lida. In September 1939 he fought in No. 55 bombing squadron Karasi. On 3rd September after bombing German armored cars on the route from Radomko to Częstochowa , he was downed. The whole crew of P-23B was killed: Frąckowiak, Czesław Borzęcki and Czesław Wiktor Buziuk.
