On 15th April 1952 there was made a first flight of an American aircraft Boeing YB-52, created on the basis of B-52 Stratoforstress. B-52 is one of the most famous strategic bombers in the history. 8 engines enabled to carry over 30 tons of bombs and reach the speed of 0,84 Ma. They were used during Vietnam War, in ‘Desert storm’ operation, raids on Jugoslavia in 1999 and at the beginning of XXI century in Afganistan and Iraq. Since 2008 Boeings YB-52 were withdrew.
