Today in aviation history – 28th March

On 28th March 1988 there was carried out the first commercial flight of a passenger aircraft Airbus A320. Air France was the first airline to have used this aircraft. A320 can carry 180 passengers. It is still produced and used until today by US Airways, easyJet, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, United Airlines, Lufthansa, British Airways, AirAsia, Wizz Air.

Today in aviation history – 27th March

On 27th March 1918 took place an aerial fight between German fighter triplanes Fokker Dr.I and surveillance aircrafts Armstrong Whitworth F.K.8 from No. 2 Squadron Royal Flying Corps.
