Today in aviation history – 25th March

On 25th March 1921 Hans Guido Mutke was born in Nysa. During World War II he served in night fighter unit Messerschmitt Bf 110, and in March 1945 he was moved to EJG 2 (III./EJG 2). He flew there on Me-262 and was the first person to break the sound barrier on this aircraft.
