On 12th November 1944 about 30 British Avro Lancaster bom bers dropped Tallboy bombs (about 5,5 tons each) on German KMS Tirpitz liner that was in one of the Norwegian fiords. On 11th November 1966 was launched two-man Gemini capsule with Jim Lovell and Edwin Aldrin (second man on the Moon) on board. It was the tenth and the last crewed space flight within the Gemini programme.
On 10th November 1945 in Łódź was made a test flight of Szpak-2 aircraft. It was the first Polish postwar prototype construction. Szpak was constructed in Aircraft Experimental Workshops in Łódź.

During 8th November 1950 during Korean war occured first battle between jet aeroplane. Americans used F-80C Shooting Stars covered by B-29 Superfortress and North Koreans MiG-15. During the battle lieutenant Russel Brown downed one of MiGs and gained first victory in jet aeroplane battle.
On 7th November 1917 Hermann Gőring gained his 16th aerial victory. He downed one-man surveillance fighter biplane Airco DH.5. During World War I he downed 22 hostile aircrafts.
