RAF Odiham welcomed back the first Chinook returning from Ex Vortex Warrior today when it flew in on a C-17 aircraft from RAF Brize Norton.
A Royal Air Force C-17 transport aircraft arrives at RAF Odiham to return kit and equipment from the USA. On board the C-17 is one of RAF Odihams Chinook helicopters.
Ex Vortex Warrior has been running since early 2015 from Naval Air Facility El Centro located in the heart of Southern California’s Imperial Valley. The Ex concentrated on contingency and environmental training for the UK Chinook Force.
