On 30th November 1939 Soviet aviation started cold war by bombing Helsinki, Vippuri and other cities in Finland. The Soviet bombers took off off bases located in Estonia. In the attack USRR used 800 aircrafts, Finnish air forces were equipped with 96 aircrafts, most of which were obsolete.
