On 14th September 1993 on Okęcie airport in Warsaw occurred a plane crash of the flight Lufthansa 2904. In consequence of ineffective braking the aircraft Airbus A320-211 crashed. The aircraft drove along the runway but hit the ground with left wing, which caused the fire. Two people died and 56 were injured.
