At Germany’s second largest airline, the upcoming weeks are set to reflect the excitement of the football World Cup: guests who fly with airberlin during the FIFA World Cup will be kept fully informed with current match results, even while high above the clouds. airberlin will transmit the results of all matches directly to the cockpit via the data radio transmission system, so that pilots will have the opportunity to update flight guests with the various match results as they come in. For matches involving Germany, half-time scores will also be announced.
