Today in aviation history – 21st March

On 21st March 1908 a French aviation pioneer Henri Farman flew round the distance of 2 km in Voisin 1907. In the same year Farman also flew round the distance of 1 km, at the end of March he carried out first flight with a passenger and on the last day of October he performed 27 km flight from Châlons to Reims. Henri Farman died in Paris in 1958.
