Today in aviation history – 5th March

On 5th March 1925 in Toulouse died Clément Ader. He was born in April 1841. Ader was a French engineer and aviation pioneer. He became famous at the end of 19th century. At the time his achievements in the area of aviation significantly encouraged French army to intensify development of aviation. However further failures discouraged the army from cooperating with Clément Ader.
