A No. 37 Squadron C-130J Hercules transport aircraft and its crew recently took advantage of the Northern winter, conducting Cold Weather Training in Canada.
The purpose of this training was to expose maintenance and aircrew personnel to operating their aircraft in cold weather conditions, conducting tasks that would be otherwise simple in more temperate climates. The training was also an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with the Royal Canadian Air Force’s No. 436 Squadron, which also operates the C-130J.
