Today in aviation history – 18th February

On 18th February 1944 a ‘Jericho’ operation took place. It was one of the boldest actions where Mosquito aircraft were used. Several of those aircrafts damaged prison walls with bombs in Amiens in France. In consequence members of French resistance that were sentenced to death escaped.
