Ltd. (AsiaSat) to upgrade another satellite terminal at itsTai Po Earth Station inHong Kong SAR. Under the terms of the contract, ISE will upgrade one of Tai Po’s C-band Radio Frequency (RF) uplink systems. Factory integration for the new system will begin shortly at ISE’s ground systems integration facility nearNewcastle upon Tyne,UK. When the installation at Tai Po is completed later this year, the new system will expand AsiaSat’s transmission capacity and provide more flexible transponder access across its satellite fleet.
