Goodrich Corporation has received a production order for its SiIMU02® inertial measurement units (IMU) from Thalesin Belfast. The IMUs will be used as the standard inertial sensor onThales’ new Lightweight Multi-role Missile (LMM). The order covers more than 1,000 units with deliveries starting in late 2013. Units will be produced by Goodrich’s Sensors and Integrated Systems team inPlymouth, UKand the production order follows successful trials of the SiIMU02 in which it demonstrated rugged reliability along with consistently exceptional performance.

First international cybersecurity contract for Boeing
The Boeing Company announced today that Sojitz Corporation, a global trading company headquartered in Tokyo, has entered into an agreement with Boeing’s Information Solutions division for advanced network assessment. The contract is Boeing’s first international cybersecurity agreement and highlights the company’s commitment to growing its cybersecurity business in Asia. The value of the contract is not being disclosed.
Goodrich will support UH-60
Goodrich Corporation has received an order from theU.S. Armyto provide 80 spare health and usage management system (HUMS) electronic units for theArmy’s UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The units will be produced by Goodrich’s Sensors and Integrated Systems business inVergennes, Vt. Deliveries are expected to commence in early 2013.
