Changes in Finnair Plus program:
Finnair Plus now offers even better benefits for Finnair Plus members as after 8 January 2015 Finnair Plus members can book Classic award flights to Europe, Tel Aviv and Dubai without having to pay the fuel surcharge fee.
“Finnair Plus members are important to us, and we want to continue to offer them even better benefits,” says Johanna Jäkälä, Director for Finnair Plus. “Flight awards are the most popular way to use Finnair Plus points, and now our customers get better value for their points.”
The surcharge has ranged between 15–40 euros per direction within Europe. The amount of Finnair Plus points needed for Classic award flights remains the same, in addition to which the passenger has to pay for the necessary taxes and other governmental charges.
