On 23rd September 1918 in consequence of aerial fight a German fighter ace – Werner Voss was downed. He fought in Fokker Dr.I against 6 British SE.5 from No. 56 RAF division. The winner was British fighting ace Arthur Rhys-Davids. Voss gained 48 aerial victories in his career.
