Today in aviation history – 19th September

On 19th September 2007 in Martin in Slovakia died Ján Režňák. He was born on 14th April 1919 in Jabłonica. During the World War II he was the most successful fighter of the Slovak Republic’s air force. During the World War II he made 193 fighting flights and managed to gain 32 aerial victories.
