JetBlue Airways Reports April Traffic

JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for April 2014. Traffic in April increased 6.1 percent from April 2013, on a capacity increase of 5.9 percent.

Load factor for April 2014 was 83.9 percent, an increase of 0.2 points from April 2013. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 98.6 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 77.4 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of April increased 11 percent year over year.
