On 11th May 1911 in Warsaw Zdzisław Henneberg was born. After USSR attacked Poland, Hennenberg got to France through Romania. On 5th July 1940 along with lieutenant Arsen Cieszyński he down a first aircraft (He-111). After that he fought in the Battle of Britain. On 12th April 1941 on his way back, he was forced to water landing. His subordinate – lieutenant Zbigniew Kustrzyński saw Hennenberg in life jacket drifting on waters of the English Channel, but he has never been found. Hennenberg is officially responsible for downing 8 and a half aircrafts.
