Today in aviation history – 20th March

On 20th March 1932 there was made a test flight on Boeing P-26 Peashooter. It was an American fighter with a monoplane construction. This aircraft was supposed to replace biplane fighters. The aircrafts were used in the initial phase of an American-Japanese conflict during World War II. Afterwards they were withdrew from fighting and used for trainings. Eventually the aircraft was withdrew in 1955.
