Today in aviation history – 14th February

On 14th February 1942 during training flight died polish pilot Mirosław Ferić. He was born on 17th June 1915 in Travnik. In 1938 he graduated from the Polish Air Force Academy in Dęblin. In September 1939 he fought in the 111th Fighter Escadrille. During the Battle of Britain he flew in No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron. He was buried in Northwood.
