On 12th February 1935 an American airship USS „Macon” (ZRS-5) sank. It was 239 meters long helium airship. On the way back to Sunnyvale, California in consequence of a storm a coating of the airship was damaged. The lack of helium caused sinking. 2 persons out of 76 people crew died.
