AirSERBIA to expand Global Network with Six More Destinations

AirSERBIA, the national airline of Serbia, will provide travellers with even more choices in the first half of 2014, with services being launched to six new destinations in Europe and the Middle East.
Flights will commence to Beirut (Lebanon), Budapest (Hungary), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Varna (Bulgaria) on 30 March 2014, followed by Kiev (Ukraine) and Warsaw (Poland) on 29 May 2014.
The new routes will increase the total number of destinations on AirSERBIA’s international network to 35, a growth rate of 20 per cent in comparison to the present number.
Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of AirSERBIA, said: „These new services are part of our strategy to expand into key international markets, offer more travel options to passengers, and help to increase Serbia’s tourism, trade and investment links with other countries. In addition to the destinations announced today, which are some of the most important markets for leisure and business travel in Europe and the Middle East, we are exploring opportunities for further network growth in 2014, details of which will be announced in due course. Passengers from Belgrade can enjoy special promotional launch return fares as low as 99 Euro to Budapest, 129 Euro to Warsaw and Kiev, 149 Euro to Sofia and Varna and Euro 219 to Beirut. Launch fares are also available to and from the AirSERBIA network in the Balkan Region and from the new destinations to Belgrade and the AirSERBIA network.”
AirSERBIA will offer daily services to Budapest, Kiev, Sofia and Warsaw, while Beirut and Varna will commence with three flights a week and increase to daily frequencies from June 2014.
Services to Kiev, Warsaw and Beirut will be operated with Airbus A319 aircraft in the brand new AirSERBIA livery of red, blue and white. Featuring a total of eight Business Class seats and 120 Economy Class seats, the onboard service proposition has also been refreshed with new menu options, a complimentary bar service and improved inflight entertainment.
Budapest, Sofia and Varna flights will be operated with AirSERBIA’s ATR72 aircraft.
