On 25th December 1970 there was made a test flight of a passenger airplane Xi’yan Y-7, which was constructed in China. The Xi’yan Y-7 is a high-wing with 2 turboprop engines, able to transport 52 passengers. It is a true copy of Russian Antonowa An-24, its test flight took place in 1959. The total production run of Y-7 in China was 103.
