KLM and Sergio Herman renew partnership

KLM is very pleased with this new partnership with Sergio Herman. This Dutch master chef is a perfect match with KLM, because his dishes are rooted in Dutch tradition, but also have an international flair. Our top chefs keep taking us to greater heights, developing superb menus for our WBC passengers.
Paul Elich – Executive Vice President Inflight Servicesl

It is an honour to be asked to create menus for KLM’s World Business Class a second time. I worked with my chefs Nick Bril of The Jane and Syrco Bakker of Pure C to create varied menus that have our specific touch and reflect the dishes served at our restaurants.’
Sergio Herman – Chef

KLM has a longstanding tradition of asking leading Dutch chefs to create meals for its World Business Class passengers, as part of its pledge to keep investing in service on board. Previously, KLM served meals created by Jonnie Boer, Richard Ekkebus and Onno Kokmeijer. Sergio Herman’s previous dishes for KLM proved so popular that the partnership has been renewed.

Sergio Herman’s meals will be served in World Business Class on flights out of Amsterdam from 1 December 2013 until the end of September 2014.
