On the 3rd of December 1965 in Moscow died Aleksander Romeyko – Russian and Polish general officer. He served in The Soviet Air Force since 1930’s in different commander’s and staff positions. Since 1944 Romeyko was a deputy of General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces in The First Polish Army, Chief of Staff in the Polish 1st Air Force Division and a Commander of the 4th Pomeranian Mixed Air Force Division. Since 1945 he was Chief of Staff, and in 1947 he became a Commander of the Air Force. He stopped performing this function in 1951 and moved to USSR.
