Yanks Air Museum: UH-1H Huey

UH-1H Huey Unveiling! November 16th 10am-4pm
During the revealing of the restored UH-1H Huey, guest can hear gripping stories from the members of the 335th Assault Helicopter Company who flew the aircraft in combat. The panel of „Cowboys” will begin speaking at 10am.Take a seat to get a pilot’s eye view of what is possibly the most revered helicopter of the Vietnam War.

After the presentation the speakers will be available for signing and visiting until 2pm. The cockpit will remain open all day.

„This kind of event allows us to give kids a taste of history. When we enhance the experience and make it more hands-on, they tend to be more engaged. A lot of them probably haven’t been in anything other than a commercial airliner,” says Christen Wright, Museum Director.

Yanks is offering a speacial deal for the day of the event only.
Admission for an entire family can be purchased for just $20.
Veterans and active military will receive free admission.
Members are free.
