Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today celebrates new, nonstop jet service between Portsmouth International Airport at Pease (PSM) via Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) and Orlando / Sanford International Airport (SFB). The recent government shutdown and furlough of TSA personnel delayed the acquisition and installation of necessary security equipment, preventing the airline from operating the inaugural flight out of Portsmouth International Airport at Pease. Passengers will depart out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport for the short-term while the outstanding items are resolved.
