EUROCONTROL’s Director General Frank Brenner addressed the TAM symposium in Braunschweig, Germany,
Hosted by HOCHTIEF AirPort (HTA) in collaboration with the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), this symposium is an annual event, which is aimed at providing a platform for the discussion of solutions to the capacity challenges facing airports and in particular the role of TAM in this context. The focus of this year’s symposium was the role of technological and scientific developments in providing a solution as well as reports on relevant experiences from airports and industry. The audience of 70 experts and managers comprised representatives of the EC, IATA, EUROCONTROL, as well as operational and technical experts from the European airport sector.
EUROCONTROL was actively engaged throughout the agenda, with the Director General opening the event with a keynote speech and the Network Manager Directorate presenting its intentions to further integrate airports into the ATM network, providing an update on the status of A-CDM implementation and relating its experiences in relation to TAM.
EUROCONTROL will continue to actively contribute to TAM developments, bringing our experience and ensuring its compatibility with our own objectives and services.
