JetBlue helps 'Keep Bills Moving’ in Washington

JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) is determined to help move things along in D.C. any way they can. Starting today and through the rest of October, JetBlue will offer complimentary Even More® Speed passes to any JetBlue customer with the first name „Bill” on their official identification flying out of Washington, D.C. area airports (DCA, IAD or BWI), allowing those customers and anyone traveling with them on the same reservation to head through security faster.

„Whatever our personal politics are, we’d all like to see good legislation moving through Washington,” said Marty St. George, senior vice president marketing and commercial strategy for JetBlue. „JetBlue is doing our part to keep 'Bills’ moving by offering them an Even More Speed pass through security. And because we’re not picky we’ll take any 'Bill’ – Bill, Billy, William, Willa, Billie – heck, we’ll even offer it to Guillermos and Willems!”

Beginning today and until October 31, 2013, JetBlue customers flying with the first name Bill or a variation such as William, Will, Billy or Billie (yes, Guillermos too) on their official identification used for check-in will receive free Even More Speed passes, allowing them to move quickly through security and on to their departure gate sooner. JetBlue’s exclusive Even More Speed offering is designed to provide the quickest possible lane to get through the security screening experience. Even More Speed customers will be able to use expedited queuing lanes–not necessarily dedicated screening lanes. Specific airport restrictions may apply.

To redeem these passes, all 'Bills’ must go to the JetBlue airport ticket counter and present a valid government-issued ID and boarding pass to receive the stamp for JetBlue’s Even More Speed lanes. Customers traveling on the same reservation as 'Bill’ are also eligible for Even More Speed; those customers must accompany 'Bill’ to the ticket counter for an Even More Speed stamp. This special is offered to „Bills” flying outbound from JetBlue’s three D.C.-area airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) only. No refunds are available for previously purchased Even More products.
