AgustaWestland North America, Inc., has relocated its corporate headquarters from Reston, Va., to Arlington, Va., in a move that brings the helicopter company in closer proximity to its Pentagon and other U.S. Federal government customers. The company has moved their office and headquarters employees from Reston’s Plaza America complex to 2345 Crystal Drive in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, Va.
“First and foremost, our unwavering commitment to our customers dictates our locations. Our investment in our new Crystal City headquarters and facilities reaffirms that commitment,” said R. Scott Rettig, CEO of AgustaWestland North America. “The opportunity to enhance our proximity and responsiveness in support of our Department of Defense and Federal customers made this an easy decision. We are proud to be a vibrant and vital member of the U.S. vertical lift industrial base, and our move nearer to our customers located in the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, the State Department, Department of Homeland Security, and, indeed, the entire federal government complex is of paramount importance. This is the right place for us. This is home.”
In addition to the presence of its government-focused business in Virginia, Maryland and Alabama, AgustaWestland has a world class commercial and dual-use helicopter manufacturing facility in Philadelphia employing over 560 people, and a development facility in Arlington, Texas, for the AW609 TiltRotor.
