American Airlines And US Airways Employees Join Members Of Congress For Capitol Hill Rally In Support Of The Merger

On Wednesday, Sept. 18, the employees of American Airlines (OTCQB: AAMRQ) and US Airways (NYSE: LCC) will host a rally on Capitol Hill in support of the merger between the two airlines. Speakers will include members of Congress and union leaders.

Leading up to the rally, hundreds of pilots, flight attendants, gate agents, baggage handlers and other employees from the two companies will be in Washington, D.C., this week, meeting with more than 300 members of Congress to discuss the benefits of the proposed combination of American Airlines and US Airways.
