Brand New A321 Aircraft «G. Vishnevskaya» Joins Aeroflot Fleet

Aeroflot took delivery of A321 airplane made by Airbus. The aircraft is named in honor of Galina Vishnevskaya, world-known Russian opera singer, People’s Artist of the USSR and holder of full set of The Order of Merit for the Fatherland.
Now the Aeroflot fleet counts 89 A319/320/321 aircraft with the average airplane age of five years.
All Airbus aircraft are received by Aeroflot directly from Airbus manufacturing plants. The airplanes are designed in two class composition and can carry 116 (A319), 140 and 158 (A320) and 170 (A321) passengers. These aircraft provide services on European and Russian domestic destinations. In terms of operational reliability and actual hours flown per aircraft Aeroflot is among the world leaders.
Airbus A320 family airplanes satisfy the highest reliability, safety and comfort standards and are one of the best for mid-range flights.
