Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] delivered an MC-130J Commando II to Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., today. Aircraft 5694 is the eighth of 11 MC-130Js to be assigned to the 522nd Special Operations Squadron at Cannon. The squadron uses the Commando II on missions such as in-flight refueling, infiltration/exfiltration, and aerial delivery and resupply of special operations forces. Maj. Gen. Robert C. Kane, Director, Global Reach Programs, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., accepted delivery of the aircraft.
