BAE teams up with WZL2

BAE Systems announced today that it is teaming with WZL2 (WojskoweZakładyLotnicze Nr 2 S.A.) to offer aircraft support and sustainment services to the Polish Air Force. The agreement, unveiled at Air Fair Bydgoszcz, will provide for maintenance and supply chain assessments, as well as other technical capabilities, to service C-130 aircraft.

“With complimentary capabilities, our companies form a strong aviation team in the region,” said Floyd McConnell, vice president of Integrated Aviation Solutions for BAE Systems. “WZL2 has a highly accomplished track record in Poland, and we have the global ability to meet a wide range of customer needs.”

WZL2, which operates one of the largest aviation facilities in Poland, is a dynamically growing enterprise with more than 65 years of experience in overhauling, maintaining and upgrading aircraft, including highly complex fighter aircraft.
