Ukraińskie zakłady UkrOboronProm w 2016 roku zmodernizowały ponad 20 śmigłowców dla armii ukraińskiej. Wśród nich znalazł się m.in Mi-24PU1 z nowymi silnikami, awioniką i uzbrojeniem.
UKROBORONPROM State enterprise “Konotop Aircraft Repair Plant” Aviakon ” in 2016 repaired and modernized more than two dozen military helicopters for Ukrainian army.
Among those modernization of Mi-24PU1, equipped with modern electronics, new engines, powerful weapons, and has a high degree of protection that includes modern complex protection ADROS. This complex foils heat-seeking missiles, protecting helicopter from man-portable air defense systems “Igla” and Stinger, as well as from air-to-air missiles type R-60 and R-73.
“State order has always been the priority for the enterprise. And, given the situation in the east of the country, Ukrainian army orders are fulfilled as soon as possible “- said Acting Director of State Enterprise “Aviakon” Ihor Marchenko.
In addition, in 2016 the enterprise paid to the state budget 196 365.0 thousand UAH, which is 22 021.0 thousand UAH more than the previous year. The average salary of all employees rose from 8 607.0 thousand UAH up to 10 708.0 thousand UAH.
